Sidenor will attend the international fair Steel Tech 2023 this coming autumn, where it will present and showcase its green steel solutions. The reference event for the Southern European steel sector will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Bilbao, on October 25th-27th.
Sidenor will be among the exhibiting companies which will participate in this year’s edition. The Basque steel company will present its green steel solutions catalogue at stand LU/03.
“At Sidenor, we aim to lead progress towards green steel in Europe and, for this purpose, we provide our customers with a zero emissions product range. We will take advantage of our presence at Steel Tech to present some examples of our innovative work”, highlighted José Antonio Jainaga, Chairman of Sidenor.
This commitment of the company to reaching carbon-neutral steel, manufactured with recycled scrap and based on renewable energies, is one of central themes of its 2022 sustainability report.
Apart from showcasing the progress made in the steel sector, Steel Tech will also address, as part of its congress programme and through renowned experts, strategic topics such as sustainability or digitization, and will offer networking opportunities among the main agents in the sector.
The event is organized by Bilbao Exhibition Centre and Siderex, in collaboration with Grupo SPRI, the Basque Government and UNESID (Union of Iron and Steel Companies).
