Sidenor has decided not to exhibit at the 2020 Wire and Tube Fair which will take place in Düsseldorf on December 7th-11th, 2020.
The company has come to the decision not to attend the Fair with its own stand due to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus.
Goyo Iparraguirre, Marketing Director of Sidenor, explains that this decision has been taken due to the risk situation generated by the coronavirus in Europe; this measure aims at protecting the health of its employees as well as the company’s business partners.
The reason for this decision is based on the potentially significant health risks in relation to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus which has been present all over the world since the beginning of the year and, specifically, considering the fact that the Fair will be attended by numerous exhibitors and visitors coming from regions affected by the virus.
“We understand that the events cannot take place the way we wish them to, because the health and well-being of people is at this moment the priority. Therefore, we have decided to cancel our participation in this major International Fair due to the threat posed by the coronavirus. Of course, we regret this radical step and hope for your understanding regarding the fact that the appointments scheduled at the Fair will not take place within the framework contemplated”.
The Tube & Wire Fair is the most significant biennial event in the cable, wire and tube sector at international level.
Over 1440 international industry exhibitors from 53 countries attended the previous edition, including Sidenor which, as in former editions, had its own stand.
Sidenor considers this Fair to be one of the main events of the sector and regrets the fact that circumstances are preventing the company from attending this major encounter.
